Capital of the North won Business Traveller Awards, which annually take place in Moscow and awarded for outstanding achievements and innovations in the scope of business tourism.
The high award showed how attractive and comfortable St. Petersburg for business travelers is, a city that received the best reviews from business travelers.
Also our city was awarded the prize World Travel Awards (took place in Sardinia) in the category "Leading European destination". The main criterion of premium was the safety of tourists. In this competition, St. Petersburg outstripped such recognized leaders as Rome, Madrid and Paris.
City authorities expect the number of tourists will reach 7 million. Such interest to St. Petersburg allows to expand the scopes of the tourist season.
Eventful tourism is also gain traction in St. Petersburg, because a series of celebrations and festivals in the city on the Neva is not limited by the summer season. Considering many tourists travel around the world following festivals that the chances of our city is very high.
