2-Day Custom Tour (Private)

Day 1

8:00 am Meeting at St. Petersburg passenger sea port near the Immigration control and introducing your guide to you (please note that the start time will be adjusted depending on your ship arrival time).

08:00 - 09:30 am – City overview tour.

This tour will give you an idea of St. Petersburg’s main attractions located in its historic central part. In your van you will travel down the city’s most famous street Nevsky Prospect, its main thoroughfare, past the most recognizable buildings like the Winter Palace, the former royal palace now housing the Hermitage Museum which is situated in the heart of St. Petersburg – Palace Square, past the churches known all over the world like St. Isaac’s Cathedral and the Savior on the Spilled Blood Church, you will see legendary monuments like the Bronze Horseman monument and legendary places like the Spit of Vasilievsky Island with its stunning view over the river and the city. You will drive down St. Petersburg’s elegant granite embankments and go over its numerous rivers and canals. If you feel like taking photos your van will make stops for picture taking.

09:30 Transfer to Peterhof Lower fountain park (on your choice).

10:30 - 12:00 am – A guided tour of one of the former summer royal residences.

12:00 - 12:45 pm Transfer to Saint-Petersburg.

1:00 – 2:00 pm lunch optional.

2:15 - 4:30 pm visit to Usupov Palace.

04:30 - 05:30 pm – Returning to the port

Day 2

08:00 am Meeting at the port

08:30 - 12:30 am – Visit to Peter & Paul Fortress +metro tour

12:30 - 1:15 pm – lunch in a café or restaurant near the Hermitage

1:30 - 3:30 pm A guided tour of the Hermitage museum. Your guide will take you around the biggest art museum of Russia now numbering 3 million exhibits ranking with such world famous museums as the Louvre, the British Museum and the Prado. Its collection is diverse and spans a very big period of time from the Pre-historic times up to the 21st century giving an opportunity to trace the development of the world art and culture. Having started with a small private painting collection of Catherine II, it grew into one of the world’s largest museums. During this two-hour tour your guide will show you the gems of the museum collection among which are the works by Leonardo Da Vinci, Raphael, Rembrandt, Michelangelo.

4:00 - 5:00 pm Boat tour (1 hour) – North Venice.

05:30 pm – Returning to the port.

Please note, that the sequence of the tour can be changed by your guide because of the traffic and museum days-off.

Child younger than 6 y.o. may travel with 1 parent free of charge. A group larger than 10 is quoted individually. Schoolchildren, students and children over 6 y.o. receive a discounted rate. (Students must provide their international ISIC ID card. If they fail to do this, they will be charged the full adult price).

The price includes: private guide, private comfortable vehicle, admission fees, bottled water, entrance tickets Peter & Paul Cathedral and Savior on the Spilled Blood Church, Hermitage, Peterhof (fountain park), Tsarskoe Selo (Palace and park) port fees, blanket visas, bank fee, a Welcome gift for children.
